Visitors to Highways UK 2026 can see new road safety products at stand I17. Nissen UK is launching additions to its traffic management range during the event, held at the NEC Birmingham on 14 and 15 October.
Details of the new products remain confidential ahead of the exhibition. However, they reflect Nissen’s ongoing focus on safety, reliability and product development within UK highways traffic management.
Safety at the Core
Safety has guided Nissen’s work for decades. Managing director Ilyas Sharif explains the company’s evolution from pioneering warning lamps to intelligent LED systems for traffic management. Their portfolio now includes safety lamps, warning beacons, traffic barriers and LED variable message signs.
These products serve a range of highways applications, supporting operational efficiency while prioritising safety. Sharif stresses: “Safety sits firmly at the heart of our entire operation.”
Engineering Quality In-House
Nissen manufactures high-performance plastic components for road safety applications at its own facilities. It also produces precision-engineered steel parts. This in-house production gives the company tight control over quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
Combining specialist knowledge, engineering expertise and product development enables Nissen to meet evolving traffic management requirements in the UK. The company also ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NRSWA and relevant Sector Schemes.
Reliability Through Testing
Supplying safety-critical equipment means reliability and precision are essential. Nissen applies rigorous testing and continuous improvement to every product.
The firm’s long experience in traffic management technology supports its alignment to UK regulations including CDM, the Traffic Management Act and others. This approach remains central to maintaining product quality and safety.
Showcasing Innovations in Birmingham
Highways UK offers Nissen a platform to present its expertise and latest developments directly to contractors, local authorities and other highways professionals. With new products launching at the event, visitors can see how the company’s portfolio is expanding to meet future traffic management challenges.
Sharif invites attendees: “You can find our team on stand I17 to discover the latest additions to our road safety range and learn more about our approach to safety, engineering and innovation.”
The exhibition runs 14 and 15 October 2026 at the NEC Birmingham.
