Unimog sales in the UK gain new momentum through Multevo, now officially appointed as the sixth Specialist Unimog Sales Dealer. The Lancashire-based company joins the existing network, providing sales and aftersales support for Mercedes-Benz’s multi-purpose off-road vehicles.

One network, extended reach

Daimler Truck UK confirmed Multevo’s new role following their time as an Unimog Authorised Repairer since May 2024. Their experience covers both sales and maintenance, crucial for off-road equipment used by councils, airports and tier 1 highway contractors.

Supporting more than 40% of local authorities

Multevo serves over 40% of local authorities, most major airports, and tier 1 contractors in highway maintenance. The Unimog’s rugged chassis and ability to handle extreme off-road conditions prove vital across these sectors. The vehicles weigh between 7.5 and 16.5 tonnes, covering a broad spectrum from the UGE Implement Carrier to the UHE Extreme Off-roader.

Investment in growth and aftersales

Multevo operates from an expanded 2.5-acre headquarters, including a new dedicated service centre. This facility increases capacity for maintenance and repair, aligning with its full sales offering for Unimog chassis and implements. The firm employs over 400 people and created more than 100 local jobs in the past year.

Recognition and progress

Ranking 68th in the 2025 Financial Times FT1000 fastest-growing companies across Europe and winning the Lancashire Business View award, Multevo demonstrates steady growth within the sector.

Dealer network structure and support

Matthew Lang joins as Unimog Sales Executive at Multevo. The wider support infrastructure includes 24 Unimog Authorised Repairers across the UK, providing maintenance and technical assistance tailored to the vehicle’s specialised applications.

Ross Paterson, Head of Special Trucks at Daimler Truck UK, said: “Multevo’s delivery concept and customer service have added value to the Unimog aftersales network in Lancashire. Their appointment to the sales network will strengthen Unimog sales in these key markets.”

Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing and Growth at Multevo, added: “Investing in state-of-the-art service centre facilities means we now offer full sales and aftersales provision for both Unimog chassis and associated implements. Our technical expertise across various applications supports operators effectively.”

Unimog’s role on UK roads

Unimog vehicles are used widely on UK highways and infrastructure projects where their versatility and resilience matter. The range caters to tasks from winter gritting and surface water management to off-road maintenance and special implementations in challenging terrains.
