Crown Plus reduces vehicle movements by around 40% through its filter drain recycling technology, showcased at Highways UK 2026, NEC Birmingham, on 14–15 October.

The company specialises in filter drain recycling, drainage surveys and remediation tailored to the UK road network. It presents its solutions on Stand F17, led by a new Senior Leadership Team including Chairman Ken Harland, Managing Director Jenny Moten, Executive & Commercial Director Paul Conner, and Executive & Growth Director Gary Price.

Vergblaster Cuts Stone Waste On Site

Visitors can see the proprietary Vergblaster machine that cleans and returns existing stone from filter drains directly back into the drain on site. This reuses material rather than importing fresh stone.

According to Crown Plus, this process cuts haulage vehicle journeys by about 40%, which lowers carbon emissions per project. It also reduces dependence on quarried stone and avoids spoil disposal costs.

No-Dig Repairs Reduce Road Impact

The company also demonstrates its no-dig inspection and repair techniques. These solutions allow asset owners to assess and fix drainage faults with minimal disruption to traffic and road users.

This approach aligns with UK regulations favouring efficient traffic management and minimising roadworks impact.

Leadership and Growth

Gary Price, Executive & Growth Director, said the firm has never been stronger since its founding over ten years ago by himself and Paul Conner. The new leadership team is steering Crown Plus through its next phase of development.

He described Highways UK as an ideal platform to present the company’s capabilities and welcomed visitors to Stand F17.

Interactive Exhibition

To engage attendees, Crown Plus runs a competition offering a high-end reMarkable digital notepad as a prize.
